Over a five-day period, each camper will be introduced to all aspects of the fashion world. Whether he or she wants to be a fashion designer, stylist, or own a retail or even online store, it all will be covered. Portland is a design Mecca, where everyone can shop many stores that feature locally made garments. We have tapped into this resource and our instructors represent some of the best. Our LA camp will feature some of the same great instructors and some local ones. Check back for updates!
Fashion Camp in Portland runs from Monday July 28th through Friday August 1st. Camp culminates in a fashion show that will feature the wonderful creations of our campers. Letter From Tacee Webb Hello! Thank you for inquiring about the third-annual Fashion Design Camp.
Fashion Design Camp was my then-8-year-old daughter Palace's idea. Due to the popularity of the Rock and Roll Camp for Girls last year, she did not get in. Pal has always had a flair for fashion, so when she expressed an interest in learning about what it takes to be a designer, we thought, "Hey! We have all these talented people at our fingertips -- why don't we utilize their skills and offer an alternative to Rock Camp?" Thus, Fashion Design Camp for girls AND boys was born.
Our instructors have been hand-picked, and in my opinion are the cream of the crop. Please call me if you have any questions Tacee Webb

Fashion Design Camp is the brainchild of local business owner Tacee Webb and daughter Palace.
We want to encourage future fashionistas, both boys and girls, to take advantage of all the opportunities in Portland to see and experience local design.
There is still time to submit your application -- we would love to have your son or daughter at the camp!
Just to give you a little information about myself, I have been in the clothing business for the past 14 years, and am the founder of The Red Light Clothing Exchange in both Portland and Seattle. I also own a company called tenspeed, and we build stores for both local and national retailers.
